This page explains which personal data Linkorado.com collects, why, who receives it and how long we keep it.

1. What we collect and why

2. E-mails we send
- Service e-mails: account activation, password reset and notifications about your link exchanges. These belong to using the service.
- Linkorado updates: only when you have chosen to receive them. Every e-mail we send contains a link to unsubscribe from updates, and you can change this at any time under My account.
- E-mails are sent through our e-mail provider (see section 4). For every e-mail we keep a short log line with the recipient and subject, to solve delivery problems.
3. Cookies
We use one cookie: the session cookie sid, needed to keep you
logged in. It is deleted when you close your browser. We do not use
advertising or tracking cookies.
4. Who receives your data
We do not sell your data. We use these service providers:
- TransIP (the Netherlands): hosting and sending e-mail.
- A screenshot service: receives only the addresses of listed websites, to make the screenshots shown in the directory.
Information about your websites (address, title, description, screenshot) is visible to everyone who visits Linkorado.com.
5. How long we keep your data
- Accounts that are never confirmed are deleted after 30 days.
- Account, site and link exchange data are kept as long as your account exists.
- Server and e-mail logs are kept for 7 days.
- You can delete your data on the My account page.
6. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we publish the new version on this page, with a new date at the top.
