Backlink checker

Does a page link to your site, and does that link count? Enter the page and your site: we read the page and show every link to you, its link text, and whether search engines are asked to ignore it.

What the checker looks at

  • Links to your site: to any page of it, with or without www., and to its subdomains.
  • The link text: the words people click, or the alt text of a linked image.
  • rel="nofollow", "ugc" and "sponsored" on each link.
  • Robots rules for the whole page: a robots meta tag or X-Robots-Tag header with noindex or nofollow.
  • Redirects: when the page has moved, we follow up to 3 redirects and check where it ends up.

What it does not see

Links that JavaScript adds after the page has loaded, pages behind a login, and sites that block unknown visitors. It checks one page at a time; it does not search the web for every site that links to you.
